MEET OUR CANDIDATES

John “JD” Donohue

“I am seeking a second term on the town board, having been elected to the position in 2019. I was born and raised in Moreau and have lived here for most of my adult life. I chose to raise my family here and they are raising their families here as well. I attended South Glens Falls High School and am a proud member of the Class of '71.

I worked for the United States Postal Service for thirty-one years, retiring in 2008. I held both management and union positions during my career. Having had a prospective from both sides has helped me deal with many of the issues that have arisen during my time on the board.

When I ran in 2019 I did so as a way to give back to our great community. I believe I have served the residents of our town to the best of my ability. I have always tried to keep the interest of the town and it's residents as my number one priority. It has been an honor to serve on the board and hope that I have earned the opportunity to continue to serve the good people of Moreau.”
